Project Overview

Challenge
The main aim for the development of sliemanursery.com was for Sliema Football Nursery to have a website that will help communicate better with their young football players. The goal was to set up a website that offers their members various facilities that will help them keep in touch with the club and vice versa.

Solution
In order to create an online community feeling on sliemanursery.com we introduced two messaging systems into the site; a forum, for the use of members of staff and coaches for internal communication; and a chat; for the use of football students. Each of these sections requires a secured logon to enter. A photo gallery, which is also updateable through ThinkDesign's UpdatePanel (CMS), was also created allowing footballers to view various photos of club events. ThinkDesign also created an online calendar of events, which is also updated regularly with training schedules, special events and football fixtures.
