Challenge
Sirap Ltd. is one of Malta's leading
personal computer and computer peripheral
importers and resellers. They needed
a site that would not only help to
sell ready built PCs but that would
also list most of their vast range
of peripherals. Sirap's main request
was for their site to be simple to
use from a front-end point of view,
and simple to update from a back-end
point of view.
Solution
ThinkDesign delivered on this request.
What makes Sirap's site so different
from most computer reseller websites
is that the site is clean and well
organized. Rather then bombarding users
with loads of "Hot Offers" and "Welcome
messages" urging people to buy,
Sirap.com.mt let's users find out
for themselves what they are interested
without getting annoyed and frustrated
before they even enter the site.
And, if all the user is interested
in is what's on special offer, then
a special offers section is available
for them to browse. All users have
to do is select what type of peripheral
they are interested in and a list
of all peripherals of this type are
displayed along with their price.
Sirap currently use their site in
support of their selling strategy.
Clients who call at their retail
outlet or offices asking for prices
are asked to refer to the website.
Therefore, Sirap have managed to
eliminate the time taking task of
sending out quotes via email or reading
them out to clients over the phone.
Moreover, they have not only done
this without neglecting their customers,
but also by improving the quality
of service that they offer.
