Challenge
When
MIDI Plc was first conceived it simply needed
a website that would present a few basic
artist impressions and make available small
blurbs of information about their upcoming
projects. MIDI rapidly developed into Malta's
largest development consortium, taking under
its wing the development of the Manoel Island
and Tigné Point areas. As public interest in
the multi-million pound projects is on the
constant rise, a website that could cope with
feeding this hunger needed to be developed.
Solution
The MIDI Plc website
was thoroughly revamped enabling Midi to
take advantage of newly available web technologies.
MIDI 's website needed to look and feel as
stylish and grand as their projects are;
ThinkDesign delivered! The site was also
built to cope with the vast amount of information
which Midi needed to communicate to the public.
Other then a state of the art website that
includes, news archives, a project progress
tracker, and virtual walkthrough videos,
Midi are also able to update their website
at the click of a button through ThinkDesign's
custom made CMS, UpdatePanel. UpdatePanel
now helps MIDI Plc keep every element of
their website constantly updated with news,
developments and progress.

'Walk-through' guides launched on MIDI Website - The Times of Malta, 13th Feb 2005
MIDI plc has launched a completely revamped and more extensive Website, with state-of-the-art features such as animated 'walk-through' virtual guides of the Tigné Point project, a 'works tracker', recent news and archives pages, photo galleries and downloadable brochures.
MIDI, Malta's largest development consortium, is executing the €450 million project - the largest development that Malta has witnessed since the construction of Valletta in the 16th century.
MIDI is building two stylish, up-market urban centres: one at Tigné Point and another on Manoel Island. Both sites have a rich historical past and command views over the water to Valletta.
The Website was revamped following requests for information about MIDI's projects. ThinkDesign, a local Maltese company, was entrusted with this innovative project. Visit the site at www.midimalta.com.
